Jeremy L. Thompson is a managing partner with Putnam, Thompson & Casper, P.L.L.C. where he maintains a general practice primarily in the areas of real estate, business transactions, personal injury, estate planning, general civil litigation, family law, and criminal defense.  Jeremy began his legal career in the St. Louis metropolitan area, practicing primarily in Southern Illinois and Eastern Missouri, with the law firm of Crowder & Scoggins, LTD.  Jeremy returned to Northeast Iowa and joined the Putnam Law Office as an associate attorney in 2011.  Jeremy became a partner with the Putnam, Fern and Thompson Law Office in 2015 and managing partner in 2017.  Jeremy grew up in Monona on his family’s dairy farm and is married to his wife, Trista, and has three children.  Jeremy enjoys attending Iowa Hawkeye and St. Louis Cardinals games, competing in half-marathons, marathons, and triathlons across the U.S., working on home improvement projects and spending time in the Lake Michigan area.
